In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining water quality, repairing equipment, and performing routine inspections to deliver a fun and safe environment for guests. Your expertise in pool maintenance, mechanical systems, and equipment repair will be essential to keep our waterpark running smoothly and efficiently. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic recreational setting while applying your maintenance skills in a vibrant environment. Responsibilities Perform regular pool maintenance tasks including water testing, chemical balancing, and filtration system checks to ensure water quality standards are met. Conduct routine inspections of waterpark equipment such as pumps, filters, heaters, and safety systems; troubleshoot and repair as needed using hand tools and power tools. Maintain and repair mechanical components of water features, slides, and other park attractions to ensure safety and operational efficiency. Clean pools, decks, and surrounding areas to uphold cleanliness standards and prevent hazards. Document all maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections accurately in logs and reports for compliance purposes. Follow safety protocols strictly during all maintenance procedures to protect yourself and park guests. Collaborate with team members to prioritize maintenance tasks that minimize downtime and maximize guest satisfaction. Qualifications Valid CPO (Certified Pool Operator) certification or equivalent waterpark maintenance certification. Proven experience in service technician roles with a focus on mechanical systems, equipment repair, or pool maintenance. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex equipment issues efficiently. Hands-on experience with pool cleaning, chemical balancing, and filtration system operation. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and specialized maintenance equipment. Knowledge of safety standards related to waterpark operations and maintenance procedures.
