Job Description

The Newell Group is proud to partner with a well‑established orthotics and prosthetics practice in Springfield, IL, seeking a dedicated Certified Prosthetist/Orthotist (CP/CPO) to join their clinical team. This is an excellent opportunity for a clinician who values patient‑centered care, high quality clinical outcomes, and strong professional collaboration. About the Role As a Certified Prosthetist/Orthotist, you will play a vital role in delivering comprehensive prosthetic and orthotic services to a diverse patient population. You will evaluate patient needs, develop individualized care plans, and provide hands‑on device fitting, adjustments, and long‑term follow‑up support. You'll work closely with physicians, therapists, case managers, and support staff in a collaborative environment focused on functional outcomes and patient satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient evaluations and functional assessments. Design, fit, align, adjust, and troubleshoot custom orthotic and prosthetic devices. Educate patients and caregivers on device use, care, and rehabilitation goals. Maintain clear and accurate clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory and reimbursement standards. Collaborate with referral sources and other healthcare professionals to support patient care coordination. Contribute to practice growth through professional relationships and community engagement. Qualifications ABC (American Board for Certification in Orthotics & Prosthetics) Certification required. State licensure in Illinois (or eligibility). 2+ years of clinical experience preferred.
