VP of Human Resources & Corporate Development Job Responsibilities:
Lead and develop HR and Training teams, including plant HR managers, HR business partners, trainers, HR assistants, and training specialists. Oversee company-wide strategic planning for HR initiatives, culture, and employee engagement. Formulate and recommend legally compliant HR policies and procedures. Manage annual HR budget in partnership with the CFO. Advise executive leadership on compensation, salary changes, and annual review compliance. Lead all employee benefit programs, including compliance and audits. Source, recruit, hire, integrate, and retain top talent using progressive, legal practices. Ensure competitive pay structures through regular review of pay grades and job tiers. Design and oversee company-wide HR practices including performance management, competency models, training, succession planning, and selection processes. Serve on executive committees, 401(k) board, and as HIPAA compliance officer. Travel to sites and attend relevant seminars and conferences (average 1-2 days every 2 months)
Qualifications:
VP of Human Resources & Corporate Development Job Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field. 7-10 years of HR experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role. Multi-site manufacturing experience preferred; working knowledge of HR systems preferred. SHRM or HRCI certification required. Proven ability to lead strategic HR initiatives and influence company culture.
