We specialize in sales, service, rentals, and parts for leading brands such as Kubota, Unicarriers Forklift, ASV, and Factory Cat. Job Overview The Vice President of Human Resources will serve as a key member of the executive leadership team and will lead all aspects of the company's people strategy, talent development, organizational structure, culture, and HR operations. This role requires a leader who can operate strategically while remaining highly engaged in the day-to-day realities of a multi-location industrial business. The ideal candidate understands how to build scalable HR systems while maintaining the practical, hardworking culture that has made the company successful. This is an opportunity to build, influence, and modernize the HR function in a company with significant growth ambitions. Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership Partner with executive leadership to align people strategy with company growth objectives Help drive organizational transformation toward a professionally managed operating model Develop scalable HR processes, policies, and leadership infrastructure Serve as a trusted advisor to ownership and senior leadership Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning Oversee and support recruiting strategy across sales, service, operations, leadership, and technical roles Oversee and support hiring processes, onboarding, and workforce planning Build talent pipelines in competitive labor markets Leadership Development & Culture Develop leadership training and accountability systems Strengthen performance management and employee development processes Help foster a culture centered around accountability, teamwork, customer service, and continuous improvement Support change management initiatives across multiple locations Employee Relations & Compliance Lead employee relations efforts and provide coaching to managers Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws Oversee HR policies, handbook development, and employment practices Support compensation and benefits administration HR Operations Evaluate and improve HR systems, reporting, and organizational structure Develop KPI-driven HR metrics and reporting tools Help create scalable infrastructure to support future growth initiatives and acquisitions Qualifications 7+ years of progressive HR leadership experience Prior leadership experience in multi-location operations preferred Experience in industrial, manufacturing, distribution, equipment, construction, transportation, or service industries strongly preferred Demonstrated success leading organizational change and professionalization initiatives Strong business acumen with the ability to balance strategy and execution Excellent communication, leadership, and coaching skills Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree or HR certification preferred What We're Looking For We are looking for a practical, high-accountability leader who: Can build trust across all levels of the organization Understands blue-collar (skilled labor) and operational work environments Is comfortable driving change while respecting company history and culture Can help elevate leadership capabilities throughout the organization Brings both strategic thinking and operational execution Compensation & Benefits We offer a competitive executive compensation package including: Base salary range $125k - $155k depending on qualifications Performance-based incentive opportunity Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) Paid time off and holidays Flexible/hybrid work arrangement Professional development opportunities Location This position is based out of our headquarters in Shakopee with travel to branch locations as needed.
