Position Overview The Vice President, People & Culture (VP, P&C) - Spiro is a hands-on, collaborative leader who reports directly to the CHRO and plays a key role in shaping and delivering a global people strategy for Spiro. This role operates at both a strategic and practical level - partnering closely with Spiro leadership, coaching and developing People & Culture team members, and staying actively involved in the day-to-day work needed to support a fast-moving, client-driven organization. The ideal candidate is comfortable in a dynamic environment and brings a strong focus on inclusivity, cultural awareness, and leading high-performing teams. Key Responsibilities Strategic People Leadership Partner with the CHRO to develop and execute a global People & Culture strategy aligned with Spiro's business goals.
Serve as a trusted advisor to Spiro's senior leadership team.
Balance strategy with a hands-on approach, stepping in to support complex challenges, lead key initiatives, and ensure strong execution.
Build strong partnerships across regions to ensure people strategies reflect the needs of the business, workforce, and client environments. Leadership of People & Culture Team Lead, coach, and develop People & Culture team members, fostering a collaborative and accountable team culture.
Provide day-to-day guidance and support, ensuring the team is equipped to meet the demands of a fast-paced agency environment.
Drive consistency in people practices globally, while allowing flexibility for regional and client-specific needs. Talent & Workforce Management Oversee talent acquisition and workforce planning across Spiro, including support for project-based and client-driven staffing models.
Lead talent development, performance management, and succession planning efforts.
Ensure the employee experience supports high-intensity project cycles, client demands, travel, and flexible staffing structures. Inclusion, Diversity & Equity (ID&E) Partner with the CHRO to advance a global ID&E strategy that reflects the diverse clients, teams, and communities Spiro serves.
Foster an environment where employees feel valued, respected, and included across office, remote, and onsite client settings.
Integrate ID&E into hiring, development, and engagement practices. Employee Relations & Global Compliance Serve as an escalation point for complex employee relations issues, providing hands-on support and guidance to the team.
Ensure compliance with employment laws and workforce practices across regions, including contractor and vendor populations.
Maintain a balanced, fair, and people-centered approach while upholding confidentiality and ethical standards. Organizational Effectiveness & Change Support organizational changes tied to growth, client needs, and evolving agency capabilities.
Use data and insights to assess workforce trends, engagement, and organizational health.
Partner on integration efforts related to new business, teams, or capabilities within Spiro. Qualifications 15+ years of progressive People/HR leadership experience with global exposure; agency, experiential, marketing services, or related experience preferred.
Experience leading and developing People & Culture/HR teams in fast-paced, client-driven environments.
Demonstrated ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
Strong background supporting diverse workforce models (full-time, project-based, contract, vendor).
Proven commitment to advancing ID&E initiatives.
Strong communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.
