Job Description

Human Resources & Credentialing Specialist Starting at $65 per hour Job description: Choices Women's Medical Center is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Human Resources & Credentialing Coordinator with outstanding people skills to manage our personnel and ensure that our human resources programs and initiatives are effective, efficient, and aligned to overall business objectives. Duties will include dealing with employee grievances and disputes, supporting employee development, enhancing job satisfaction, designing onboarding procedures, implementing HR strategies that support business objectives, forecasting staffing needs, mitigating risk and acting, structuring benefit packages, maintaining employee records and ensuring annual reviews, designing accountability mechanisms, and overseeing overall employment needs. We are seeking a candidate with a strong background in a regulated healthcare environment. This individual will bring a robust work ethic, strategic thinking, and a comprehensive knowledge of labor regulations and HR best practices to our team. Key attributes for success include exceptional organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. The right person for this role will be instrumental in enhancing our HR processes, boosting employee morale and retention, and promoting a culture of safety and wellness. Furthermore, they will focus on strengthening staff-employer relations, increasing job satisfaction, attracting and retaining talent, and promoting our organization's core values.
Responsibilities:
Developing implementing and updating human resources policies. Supporting strategic objectives. Support human resources functions including onboarding new staff, maintaining personnel records, assisting with benefits administration, and negotiating employment agreements. Ensuring compliance with laws and regulations Managing staff wellness and performance reviews. Motivating and supporting current staff. Maintaining staff records according to relevant regulations. Handling employee benefits. Identifying staffing needs and creating job descriptions. Designing and directing training programs Coordinate the credentialing and re-credentialing processes for healthcare providers, ensuring timely verification of licenses, certifications, and professional credentials. Collaborate with managed care organizations to facilitate provider enrollment, contract renewals, and compliance documentation. Assisting in Maintaining and updating Physician and clinical credentialed employee folders Prepare for, coordinate, and support regulatory surveys and inspections.
Requirements :
Education :
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required; Master's degree or HR certification (SHRM-SCP or SPHR) preferred.
Experience :
Minimum of 5 years of HR experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership or director-level role, preferably within the healthcare sector. Demonstrated experience working with DOH, and similar regulatory agencies a plus. Strong knowledge of healthcare compliance, licensure, and accreditation.
Skills :
Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulatory compliance. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in provider files and compliance documentation. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust across all levels of the organization. Proven ability to think strategically. Strong computer literacy and experience with HRIS software and talent management systems.
