227000 Job Description The Director of HRIS is responsible for leading the strategy, development, implementation, and ongoing management of the organization's Human Resources Information Systems. This role ensures HR technology solutions align with business objectives, drive operational efficiency, and enable data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in HR processes, systems architecture, governance, and project management. This leader will also oversee vendor strategy and performance, effectively managing key relationships for both technology platforms and service providers to ensure optimal value and service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the HRIS strategy and roadmap, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and driving technology-enabled HR transformation. 
  • Oversee the implementation, optimization, and ongoing management of HRIS platforms to meet evolving business needs. 
  • Manage system upgrades, enhancements, and integrations in collaboration with IT and external vendors. 
  • Own strategic vendor relationships for HRIS software and services, ensuring alignment with company strategy and maximizing value delivery. 
  • Establish and maintain HRIS governance, including policies, procedures, data integrity, security, and regulatory compliance. 
  • Partner cross-functionally to identify and implement process improvements, automation opportunities, and enhanced user experiences. 
  • Serve as the primary liaison between HR leadership and IT to ensure alignment of systems, priorities, and execution. 
  • Lead, develop, and enable a high-performing HRIS team while driving user adoption through training and best practices.
Skills/Qualifications Required
  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in
HRIS, HR
management, or a related field, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Ability to travel occasionally (up to 10%) as needed. Preferred
  • Experience with enterprise HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM), with SAP SuccessFactors preferred. 
  • Strong understanding of HR processes, data management, analytics, and HRIS governance. 
  • Demonstrated project management, analytical, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across functions. 
  • Experience with data privacy regulations, vendor management, and HR technology trends; relevant certifications (e.
