As our organization continues to grow, we are evolving our HR / People Operations strategy to become more operationally aligned, people-focused, and business-driven. We are currently building a People Business Partner model designed to be the boots on the ground and directly support operational leadership, strengthen organizational health, improve retention, and help leaders build high-performing teams. Position Summary This role requires someone who understands both restaurant operations and Human Resources, and who can effectively bridge the gap between strategy and execution. Working closely with the People Operations department head and field leadership, this position will help operationalize enterprise people initiatives across the organization by translating strategic direction into practical, scalable processes, tools, leader support, and operational action plans. This position is designed for someone who thrives in both strategy and execution. While the long-term vision centers around embedded operational partnership, the initial phase of the role will also help support the foundational infrastructure needed to scale the People Business Partner model successfully across the enterprise. This may include helping build and refine systems, workflows, shared services processes, reporting structures, dashboards, operational tools, workforce analytics, and scalable People Operations support functions. Success in this role requires strong systems thinking, comfort working with data and spreadsheets, and the ability to translate operational people metrics into actionable business insights. Essential Functions & Responsibilities Operational Partnership Build strong partnerships with operational leaders across multiple brands and locations. Serve as a trusted advisor on people-related operational challenges and opportunities. Help align People Operations strategies with operational goals and business performance. Employee Relations & Investigations Lead, support and document employee relations investigations involving workplace concerns, policy violations, performance issues, and interpersonal conflict. Ensure investigations are conducted objectively, thoroughly, and in alignment with company policy and applicable employment laws. Partner with leadership to identify appropriate corrective actions and sustainable resolutions. Leadership Coaching & Accountability Support managers in navigating difficult conversations and employee development opportunities. Reinforce leadership behaviors aligned with company values and organizational expectations. Support a culture of consistent communication, accountability, scorecard ownership, goal achievement, and disciplined follow-through aligned with the organization's operational and EOS priorities. Workforce Strategy & Retention Support retention, engagement, onboarding, and workforce planning initiatives. Analyze workforce trends, turnover patterns, engagement feedback, and operational people metrics to identify opportunities for improvement. Collaborate with Operations on proactive strategies to improve employee experience and organizational stability. Organizational Development & Change Management Partner with Operations on leadership development and succession planning efforts. Identify operational gaps in training, leadership capability, communication, and team effectiveness, and collaborate with People Operations leadership to develop creative, scalable, and sustainable solutions. Support implementation of enterprise initiatives, operational changes, and new systems/processes. Assist in driving organizational alignment and change management efforts across the enterprise. Help operational leaders gain traction by supporting clarity around priorities, execution, communication rhythms, and organizational accountability. Infrastructure & Process Development Help build scalable People Operations infrastructure, including workflows, intake processes, ticketing systems, service delivery models, reporting tools, and process standardization. Partner with internal teams to improve operational efficiency, consistency, and communication. What We're Looking For Successful in a fast-paced, accountability-driven environment with strong communication rhythms, measurable goals, and a focus on execution and continuous improvement. Strong judgment, professionalism, and emotional intelligence. Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills. Ability to influence and coach leaders at multiple levels of the organization. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities. Analytical mindset with the ability to identify trends and recommend solutions. Experience supporting multi-unit, retail, restaurant, hospitality, or field operations environments. Preferred Experience 5+ year's experience leading Human Resources in a decentralized environment, Employee Relations, Operations Support, Organizational Development, or related fields. Proficiency in conducting workplace investigations and coaching leaders. Experience supporting change management or organizational growth initiatives. Familiarity with HRIS systems (UKG preferred), workforce reporting, and operational metrics. Restaurant industry experience SHRM, or HRIS credentials English/Spanish bilingual preferred Why Join Us?
