Vice President, Human Resources & Compliance Travel:
Occasional travel for new site launches Position Overview Our client is seeking a practical, hands-on Human Resources leader to manage HR operations and labor compliance across a growing, multi-state healthcare organization. This role works closely with executive leadership while actively managing HR policies, employee relations, regulatory compliance, and day-to-day HR functions. Key Duties Act as a strategic HR partner and advisor to executive and operational leadership Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws, including wage and hour regulations, overtime rules, FMLA, ADA, PTO, and employee classification requirements Develop, update, and enforce HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks Handle complex employee relations matters and oversee internal investigations when needed Supervise and guide current HR team members Provide HR support for healthcare service lines Collaborate with leadership on workforce planning, organizational structure, and hiring strategy Offer performance coaching, leadership support, and employee development guidance Assist with HR planning and compliance during new site launches and geographic expansion Requirements Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR leadership experience, preferably in healthcare Experience supporting organizations operating across multiple states and locations Strong understanding of employment regulations and labor compliance Demonstrated ability to develop and implement HR policies and procedures Hands-on management approach with strong operational focus Excellent communication, problem-solving, and relationship management skills Bachelor's degree or comparable professional experience required HR certification such as SPHR or
SHRM-SCP
