A53094 Responsibilities About the Team TikTok USDS JV seeks an experienced HR Operations Lead to support our workforce. As the HR Operations Lead, you will drive excellence in the delivery and execution of core HR operational processes across the employee lifecycle that will help shape TikTok Employee experience. You will manage and optimize HR systems, workflows, compliance frameworks, HR data and reporting, and service delivery, so HR teams and business partners can deliver consistent, efficient, and compliant people services. You'll lead process improvements and contribute to the strategic HR agenda in alignment with business priorities.
What You'll Do:
  • Own core HR operational processes, including onboarding, offboarding, employee record maintenance, HR documentation, payroll coordination, and benefits administration.
  • Working closely with the HRBPs, Business Leaders, Talent Acquisition, Global Mobility and Immigration teams, Employee Relations, and Legal to ensure efficient HR service delivery and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of HR data across HRIS and related systems. Act as HR systems owner (e.g., Workday, Equifax, Sterling), including supporting enhancements, troubleshooting, audits, and integrations
  • Use HR data to identify trends, risks, process gaps, and recommend solutions for workforce and operational challenges
  • Maintain and update HR policies, procedures, SOPs, and documentation in response to regulatory changes
  • Drive operational efficiency by identifying root causes of recurring issues and implementing scalable solutions to improve HR service delivery. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in HR Operations, HRIS, or related HR functions, including but not limited to optimization of payroll, benefits, immigration, and global mobility programs.
  • 3+ years of leadership experience managing HR operations teams or leading complex, cross-functional initiatives
  • Proficiency in MS Suite, HRIS, Workday, and other HR technology tools.
  • Excel skills, including proficiency in performing VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and data analysis functions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly with employees, stakeholders, and candidates.
  • Expert knowledge of compliance, labor law requirements, and HR operational best practices. Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience working in a high-growth technology environment is preferred. This includes exposure to fast-paced, entrepreneurial settings where agility, adaptability, and innovation are valued.
  • Experience scaling HR processes, implementing HR initiatives to support growth, and navigating organizational change.
  • Proven ability to autonomously manage multiple projects concurrently, with strong attention to detail and effective time management skills.
  • Bachelor's degree; preferably in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field. Job Information 【For Pay Transparency】Compensation Description (Annually) The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $148200
  • $328320 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units. Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location.
