Job Description

Overview:
The Chief of Employee Engagement role is responsible for leading a team dedicated to fostering a positive, productive workplace by developing strategies to improve communication, retention, and overall job satisfaction for Quonset Point hourly employees. This position will partner with Quonset Point leadership team and work at the deck plate level, with a specific focus on employee engagement.

Microsoft Office Key Responsibilities:
Ensure employees are informed about company updates and initiatives by having a structured communication program Oversee, develop and improve employee recognition programs Support new hire onboarding and promote professional growth opportunities Actively listen to employees through lunch with leadership, focus groups, and 1-on-1s to identify needs and improve morale Strong deck plate presence to promote and establish a positive employer-employee relationship Facilitate a strong leadership and coaching culture Implement continuous improvement initiatives with the focus to improve retention across the facility Performs various duties as may be assigned by manager
Qualifications:
Required:
High School Diploma or GED 4+ years of supervisor, leadership or employee engagement experience in a high-volume/high stakes environment Must be available and willing to work all shifts including nights and weekends as business needs dictate. This job will require extended hours to support all 3 shifts Ability to work in a production area continuously, with no ability to
WFH Preferred:
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communication, HR or another related field Familiarity with large scale manufacturing operations Experience in training, employee relations or facilitating Proven track record in designing and executing engagement initiatives 10+ years of supervisor, leadership or employee engagement experience in a high-volume environment
