Head of HR Compliance
The HT Group has a technology-driven staffing and workforce solutions client in Austin, Texas looking for a Head of HR Compliance who is strategic, analytical, and hands-on to lead multi-state HRpliance operations, drive risk management initiatives, and build scalablepliance programs supporting a rapidly growing workforce across the United States.

Responsibilities:
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of HR Compliance professionals
Serve as the primary subject matter expert on federal and state employment laws
Developpliance strategies supporting expansion into new U.S. markets
Oversee I-9, E-Verify, background screening, and workforcepliance programs
Leadplex employee relations matters and workplace investigations
Partner with Legal, Payroll, Tax, and Operations teams onpliance initiatives
Design policies and processes that mitigate employment and joint-employer risk
Develop reporting, audit programs, andpliance dashboards for leadership
Advise executives on workforcepliance, benefits,pensation, and organizational risk
Requirements:
Extensive HR leadership experience within staffing, workforce solutions, or contingent labor environments
Strong knowledge of federal and multi-state employment laws, including California labor regulations
Experience managing HR orpliance teams in a fast-paced organization
Expertise in employee relations, workplace investigations, and risk management
Knowledge of worker classification, joint-employer doctrine, and contingent workforcepliance
Experience with HR technology,pliance automation, and HRIS platforms
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills
Ability to influence stakeholders andmunicate effectively at all levels
Desired:
Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
SHRM-SCP, SPHR, or other advanced HR certifications
Experience supporting operations across multiple states and jurisdictions
Background leadingpliance initiatives within technology-enabled staffing organizations
