Full Job Description Position Summary:
The Leasing Consultant responds to inbound inquiries, conducts apartment tours, identifies customer needs and successfully leases apartment homes. This role is responsible for exceeding sales performance targets and lease conversion rates to support optimal building occupancy.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and engage prospective residents and provide guided and self-guided tours of the community and available apartment homes. Engage in high-volume, multi-channel customer interactions (phone, email, and online chat) for inbound and outbound communication. Achieve Key Performance Indicator (KPI) targets and maintain a viable prospect pipeline to drive optimal lease conversion rates and support occupancy goals. Accurately input prospect activity, customer information, and leasing updates in the appropriate operating platform. Ensure community common areas and grounds are consistently maintained to company standards, proactively identifying and resolving any potential hazards. Participate in regular sales coaching, training, courses and community visits to continuously expand portfolio knowledge. Maintain knowledge of local market trends, competitor communities, pricing, and offerings to effectively position the community within the market.
Additional Skills:
2-3 years of sales or leasing experience preferred. Strong customer service and communication skills. Experience using property management systems such as Salesforce and One-Site preferred. Strong organizational and time management skills. Knowledge of apartment leasing practices and local market trends is a plus.
Preferred Education:
High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent experience)
Preferred Years of Relevant Work Experience:
2+ years
Additional Requirements:
Valid California driver's license; Maintain continuous vehicle liability insurance as required by state law. (This role requires the regular and frequent operation of a vehicle, as defined in the Company's MVR policy, and is part of the essential duties of this position.)
