Pay:
$31.25 - $42.67/hour (negotiable for the right candidate)
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM Ultimate Staffing Services is seeking a detail‑driven and experienced Compensation Analyst to support our client's Human Resources team in Pasadena. This 6-8 month temporary assignment offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to compensation strategy, ensure regulatory compliance, and support organizational structure initiatives. The role reports directly to the Vice President of Human Resources . Key Responsibilities Develop, maintain, and update job descriptions, ensuring accuracy and FLSA compliance. Review compensation frameworks and job structures to determine classifications and salary ranges. Analyze market‑based compensation surveys and recommend salary adjustments based on trends. Conduct interviews with managers to gather job requirements and organizational insights. Benchmark internal roles against external market data to ensure competitive compensation. Prepare and present compensation analysis summaries to leadership. Evaluate and implement job analysis tools and methodologies. Advise management on state and federal employment regulations and compensation policies. Perform additional related duties as needed. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Minimum of 4 years of direct Compensation Analyst experience. Strong background in salary surveys, job evaluations, market analysis, and compensation administration. Excellent analytical, critical‑thinking, and statistical skills. In‑depth knowledge of compensation laws, regulations, and industry best practices. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Highly organized with strong time‑management and collaboration abilities. Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel . Why This Opportunity?
