Job Description

Product Implementation Analyst, Senior Blue Shield of CA United States, California, Redding Apr 28, 2026 Your Role The Custom Product Consultant team is responsible for the creation of custom fully insured and self-funded employer group plan selections including creating plan designs in the product platform system, providing member documents and internal benefit requirements. The Product Implementation Analyst, Senior will report to the Senior Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for assignments of medium complexity while applying comprehensive understanding of the company's healthcare products, functions and regulatory guidelines to create plans and plan documents for RFPs, renewals, and new implementations. This position provides critical support to our key stakeholders as a subject matter expert for Blue Shield of California's benefit and plan offerings. In this role, you will work cross functionally with a focus on medium complex plan designs along with other activities to support business metrics associated with production as defined by the business needs of the organization. Your Knowledge and Experience Requires a college degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience
Strong knowledge of employer group health plans, benefits, federal and state mandates, and regulatory guidelines
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills required
Competency in Microsoft Excel and Word required
Ability to manage high volumes and multiple priorities with a high degree of ambiguity required
Work under general supervision, using established procedures required
Excellent interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills required Hybrid This role requires employees to be in-office based on our hybrid workplace model, balancing purposeful in-person collaboration with flexibility. For most teams, this means coming into the office two days each week. Employees living more than 50 miles from an office location will work with their manager to determine in-office time based on business need.
