As a Benefits Consultant, you will play a vital role in helping clients understand and select the best benefits packages, providing exceptional customer service, and developing your sales expertise. No prior experience? No problem! We provide full training to set you up for success from day one. Duties Engage with potential clients through outside sales efforts, including telemarketing and community outreach, to promote benefits solutions. Conduct detailed needs analysis to identify client requirements and tailor benefits packages accordingly. Negotiate terms and explain complex benefits options clearly, ensuring clients understand their choices. Manage sales administration tasks such as processing applications, updating records, and maintaining accurate documentation. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing questions, resolving concerns, and guiding clients through the benefits enrollment process. Collaborate with marketing teams to develop strategies that attract new clients and retain existing ones. Stay informed about industry trends, insurance products, HIPAA regulations, and benefits administration best practices to deliver accurate advice. Requirements Strong communication skills with the ability to explain benefits options clearly and persuasively. Experience in outside sales, retail sales, or telemarketing is highly desirable. Demonstrated negotiation skills to close deals effectively while maintaining client satisfaction. Familiarity with sales administration tools and analysis skills to evaluate client needs and market trends. Knowledge of insurance sales, benefits administration, or customer service roles enhances your fit for this position.
