Established in 1996, we pride ourselves on providing patient-focused care across ten convenient locations. Our commitment to excellence ensures that every patient receives comprehensive services tailored to their needs. Summary We are seeking an Assistant to join our dynamic Workers Compensation team at Neuroscience & Spine Associates. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring smooth operations within our practice. Your contributions will enhance the patient experience and support our mission of delivering high-quality healthcare. Responsibilities
  • Handle inbound phone calls from patients and insurance adjusters to register new cases and schedule appointments.
  • Review workers' compensation forms and patient accounts for accuracy and completeness.
  • Send required documentation and physician orders to insurance carriers and adjusters following each patient visit.
  • Faxing and Scanning of all documents
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date patient records and accounts.
  • Respond to internal inquiries related to workers' compensation procedures and cases.
  • Assumes other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements Entry level but experience preferred. Proven experience in a clerical or administrative role, preferably in a healthcare setting and with workers compensation preferred. Positive Personality. Efficient with word/excel and other programs. Strong phone etiquette and communication skills for effective patient interactions. Familiarity with office management practices and procedures. Computer literacy with proficiency in office software applications. Experience as a medical receptionist or front desk clerk is highly desirable.
