The Worker Compensation and Leave Coordinator supports administration of Norco's leave programs. The role works with new, continuing and reopened Worker Compensation claims, assessing compensability and legitimacy. Investigates claims, interviews and collects information from incident reports, medical records and witnesses. Supports employees and health care personnel through claims management, tracking claims and follow-up appointments. The role overseas return to work compliance and participate in vendor relations for the program. Additional responsibility supporting FMLA company leave in partnership with our TPA, coordinating cases, ensuring compliance and return to work monitoring. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Maintain and keep confidential complete, accurate and standardized files on all current and former employees, including personnel and medical files Act as point of contact for employees with Workers' Compensation claims and coordinate with Human Resources and Vendors to support claims management Act as key liaison between injured employees, medical providers, workers comp carriers and Human Resources and Safety functions Oversee new, continuing, and reopened claims including oversight of health care follow up and return to work Track all recordable injuries in the WC tracking tools (Velocity/Luminos, etc.) May support Safety Manager with investigation, root cause analysis and corrective action documentation of workforce accidents and incidents Manage return to work program documentation and tracking for injured employees Manage
