$38.67 - $59.94 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors. Senior Compensation Analyst As a Senior Compensation Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our compensation practices are competitive, equitable, and strategically aligned with organizational goals. You will conduct advanced compensation analysis, job evaluations, and market research to support the hospital's compensation strategy.

Required Travel:
Travel to other locations may be required for meetings What you will do: Leading job evaluations to determine job classifications, pay grades, and salary structures for various hospital positions. Ensuring that job descriptions accurately reflect job duties and responsibilities. Conducting in-depth market research and benchmarking to compare hospital compensation practices with industry and regional standards. Providing recommendations for competitive compensation strategies. Developing and implementing compensation strategies and programs, including base pay, incentives, and bonus plans. Collaborating with HR and leadership to design and manage compensation initiatives that attract and retain top talent. Overseeing the administration of the hospital's compensation programs, including merit increases, salary reviews, and incentive plans. Ensuring compliance with compensation policies and guidelines. Analyzing complex compensation data and metrics to identify trends and provide data-driven insights to HR leadership. Preparing comprehensive reports and presentations on compensation-related topics for senior management. Ensuring that compensation practices comply with federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Staying current with changes in labor laws and provide guidance on necessary updates. Managing the participation in salary surveys to collect and submit compensation data to external organizations. Utilizing survey data to inform compensation decisions. Leading communication efforts related to compensation programs, including the dissemination of salary increase announcements, incentive plans, and total rewards statements. Providing mentorship and guidance to junior compensation analysts. Leading compensation projects and initiatives.
What you will need:
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting, or other related field, required
Certification:
Certified Compensation Professional (CCP), preferred
Experience:
5+ years of progressively more responsible compensation administration, finance or consulting experience in large, complex organizations, preferably in a healthcare or hospital setting required.
Unique or Preferred Skills:
Advanced proficiency in using MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio. Ability to create dynamic tools and models to interpret and analyze data. Demonstrated proficiency in communicating with others (verbally and in writing) to capture and interpret complex messages and communicate in a manner that can be actionable by users Action-oriented, self-starter and the ability to operate independently Demonstrated proficiency in project management and the ability to prioritize and manage expectations of leaders and HR colleagues. Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to interpret data and make meaningful recommendations.
