Responsibilities:
PURPOSE:
To provide critical support to the company and its employees for all benefit and leave administration including maintenance of employee data, compliance with all laws and company policies, and assistance in the execution of HR initiatives.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Enter and maintain employee data in multiple data bases and software systems Create metrics with advanced tables and charting in Excel to analyze payroll and employment data Complete Verifications of Employment Performs periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately Assists employees with benefit enrollment and questions Maintains employee database and files Responsible for offboarding all benefit related information Ensures compliance with required benefit notices Administers Annual Open Enrollment Assists distributing information to employees about company benefits, such as insurance providers and options and company retirement plan. Responsible for coordination and administration of FMLA, leave of absence requests and accommodations Updates employee data for terminations Attend and actively participate in meetings as required Partners with the HR Department in the coordination of company events as needed Organize and maintain personnel records in compliance with laws Ensure compliance with Labor Law postings at all locations Maintain confidentiality at all times Provide excellent customer service Participate in HR projects Manage multiple duties simultaneously Work in a positive, supportive, and cooperative way at all times Perform other duties as needed
Qualifications:
QUALIFICATIONS
Valid Driver License 4-year degree and 2 years' experience in Business, HR or other related field and/or equivalent combination of education and experience Experience with HR software, HRIS or HRMS preferred Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite Excellent data entry and typing skills preferred Human Resources experience required Detail-oriented, analytical thinker, and problem-solver Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and react to change productively Ability to navigate multiple computer systems Ability to work on tasks independently or in a team environment
WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Primarily sedentary work, which involves sitting most of the time May be occasionally required to exert up to 20 pounds of force and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects The general office environment is favorable; Lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are minimal hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc; Visual Acuity including regular use of items including a computer screen or monitor Manual dexterity is regularly required including fingering, grasping, and typing; manual dexterity includes repetitive motion of the wrists, hands, and fingers Talking and hearing required to communicate with and listen to others to share or receive information; May be occasionally exposed to noise including telephone, office machinery, and conversations of others We are an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
