NA Posted 03/23/2026 Req # 7532 Job Summary This position's responsibilities include the daily administration of Marion Health's Employee Benefit Programs which includes but is not limited to the medical, dental, vision, flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, life and accidental death and dismemberment insurance, employee assistance program, 403(b) and 457(b) plans, pension plan, PTO donations, long-term disability, short-term disability, and other voluntary benefit programs. Assists in maintaining all Plan documents. Ensures compliance with Marion Health employee benefit policies and all laws and regulations governing employee benefit programs. Ensures timely and accurate claims adjudication and Plan audits. Develops systems and tracking mechanisms for benefit related tasks. Ensures appropriate communication of benefit information to all employees and retirees. Assesses plan design and investigates new benefit programs, improves existing programs, and continually assesses market competitiveness of all programs. Responsible for the full-cycle of annual benefit enrollments including system preparation, enrollments, spousal carve-out collection, and health savings account liaison with financial institution. Serves as liaison between employees and insurance providers to resolve benefit-related problems. Ensures effective utilization of Plans and positive employee relations. Serves as back up to the HR Leave Coordinator. Minimum Job Requirements High School Diploma or its equivalent and eight (8) years' experience in Human Resources and/or benefits administration or Associate's Degree in Human Resources Management or related discipline and three (3) years' experience in Human Resources and/or benefits administration. Preferred Job Requirements Work experience within a Healthcare setting. Certification in one or more of the following: PHR- Professional in Human Resources SPHR

- Society of Human Resources Management
- Senior Certified Professional CEBS
- Certified Employee Benefits Specialist Skills / Knowledge / Abilities A professional level of knowledge of employee benefit related laws and regulations such as ERISA, COBRA, FMLA, HIPAA, FLSA, etc.
