With locations across multiple regions and plans for expansion, our center specializes in physiatry, physical therapy, and chiropractic services, committed to enhancing patient well-being through integrated healthcare solutions. Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Billing Specialist with experience in Workers' Compensation billing and authorization submission. The ideal candidate will be responsible for obtaining and tracking treatment authorizations, submitting medical claims, following up with insurance adjusters, and ensuring timely reimbursement. Responsibilities Submit and track workers' compensation treatment authorizations Process medical billing claims accurately and timely Verify claim information, insurance coverage, and authorization status Follow up with adjusters, nurse case managers, and insurance carriers Review denied or delayed authorizations and claims for resolution Maintain accurate patient and claim documentation Communicate with providers regarding treatment approvals and billing updates Ensure compliance with workers' compensation guidelines and payer requirements Monitor outstanding balances and assist with collections follow-up Qualifications Minimum 1 year of workers' compensation medical billing experience Experience submitting prior authorizations for treatment and procedures Knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and medical terminology Familiarity with EMR/EHR and billing software Strong communication, organizational, and follow-up skills Ability to multitask and manage high-volume claims efficiently
