In this vital role, you will be responsible for managing payroll processes, administering employee benefits, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. Your expertise will help us maintain accurate financial records, streamline payroll operations, and support our employees' well-being. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a thriving organization committed to excellence in human resources and financial management. Duties Process payroll accurately and efficiently using payroll management software such as ADP. Manage benefits administration, including enrollments, changes, and terminations, ensuring timely communication with employees. Perform data entry related to payroll and benefits into various HRIS (Human Resources Information System) platforms. Reconcile accounts related to payroll, benefits, and general ledger entries to ensure accuracy and compliance. Assist with accounts payable and receivable tasks, including invoice processing and expense tracking related to employee compensation. Maintain detailed records of payroll transactions, benefit enrollments, and tax filings in accordance with company policies. Support compliance efforts by preparing reports on payroll taxes, governmental filings, and audit documentation. Collaborate with HR and finance teams to resolve discrepancies related to payroll or benefits processing. Utilize technical accounting skills for journal entries, account reconciliation, and analysis of financial data related to employee compensation. Experience Proven experience working with payroll management systems such as ADP. Strong knowledge of accounting software like QuickBooks or similar platforms used for bookkeeping and financial tracking. Experience with Human Resources, assisting with Employee Handbook and other Human Resource functions. Familiarity with corporate accounting principles including general ledger accounting, double entry bookkeeping, debits & credits, journal entries, and account reconciliation. Understanding of benefits administration processes within a human resources context. Experience handling governmental accounting requirements and tax-related filings related to payroll taxes. Demonstrated ability to analyze financial data accurately with excellent attention to detail. Knowledge of non-profit accounting practices is a plus but not required. Excellent data entry skills including 10 key typing proficiency and attention to detail in high-volume environments.
