We do that by being the center of communities, serving more than 260,000 individuals annually through 25 traditional Y facilities located in St. Louis City, eight Missouri counties and six Illinois counties, as well as YMCA Trout Lodge and YMCA Camp Lakewood, the YMCA Community Development Branch, and our Washington University Campus Y Branch. Administer multiple employee benefit programs including life, health plans, dental plans, FSA, HSA, retirement and 403(b) plan. Administer and oversee the annual open enrollment process including all communications. Provide training and present benefit offerings and details during the annual open enrollment timeframe and for mass hiring events. Comply with the provisions of COBRA, HIPAA, FMLA, and ERISA and supervises filing of reports with state and federal agencies. Provide support and customer service for employees at all locations including researching solutions when necessary. Monitor and track ACA eligibility for the Association. Ensure benefit payments are being deducted from employee payroll or scheduled for payment through other means. Assist with processing year end 1095C report via UKG and IRS Process employment leaves of absences based on the Gateway Region's guidelines for FMLA and Discretionary Leaves of Absence. Follow all FMLA guidelines Review and process requests for a reasonable accommodation in the workplace per ADA guidelines Monitors internal communication shared emailed box to provide service to employees. Review all monthly invoicing to ensure accuracy and arrange for payment. Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or human resources preferred. Two years of experience in administering benefits programs preferred. Excellent management and analytical skills and outstanding customer service focus. Thorough knowledge and understanding of the health, voluntary, and fringe benefits. Thorough understanding of requirements of COBRA, HIPAA, FMLA, ERISA, and IRS rules on pertinent benefit programs. Computer skills including Word, Excel, and ability to quickly learn the company's accounting software.
