Claims Analyst - Reinsurance

Job Description We are looking for a keen analyst to join one of our reinsurance clients assisting in Claim Document Capture/Indexing along with Client Administration tasks.

Claim Document Capture/Indexing:

This position will be primarily responsible for supporting all administrative processes related to Claims including Document Capture, Document Indexing, and Claim Analyst processes, including creating claims from client submissions, compiling reports and performing analyses critical to meeting weekly, monthly and quarterly Claims deliverables.

Client Administration:

Client Administration serves as the administrative contact for assigned companies; responsible for all client management and operational activities including:

•  New business and in-force premium reconciliations and transaction processing
•  Claims coverage verifications
•  Client activity and performance monitoring
•  Issues management and problem resolution

• 3+ years of reinsurance administration/claims support experience; reinsurance, insurance or related business or product knowledge
• Strong analytical, research and problem-solving skills
• Experience with data analysis, SQL queries preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (V-Lookups, Pivot Tables, Formulas)
• Experience with analyzing data in relation to treaty/contract requirements
• Accounting knowledge
• Degree in Finance, accounting, insurance
