$50,000 annually About the Position A well‑established organization is seeking a detail‑oriented Pension Analyst to join its team. This role focuses on calculating pension benefits for participants across multiple pension plans administered in‑house. The ideal candidate enjoys working with numbers, conducting detailed research, and solving analytical challenges related to individuals' long‑term employment histories. This is a great opportunity for someone who values accuracy, consistency, and problem‑solving in a stable, supportive work environment. Key Responsibilities Perform accurate pension benefit calculations in accordance with plan rules and formulas Complete repetitive, math‑focused calculations with consistency and precision Research and verify employment histories and participant eligibility Analyze participant data and resolve discrepancies or inconsistencies Use intermediate to advanced Excel skills to manage and process data Apply analytical and investigative skills to align complex work histories with pension requirements Provide general administrative and analytical support to the department as needed Qualifications Strong mathematical skills and comfort with repetitive calculations Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel High level of attention to detail and accuracy Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities Ability to research, interpret, and verify data Previous experience in pensions, benefits administration, accounting, or a related field is preferred but not required Strong organizational skills and ability to manage steady workloads Work Environment Friendly and supportive team Laid‑back, professional atmosphere Consistent workload with steady volume Benefits Pension plan (vested after 5 years) Medical, Prescription Drug, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance at no cost to the employee (employee coverage) 401(k) plan (no employer match) 5 personal days annually Vacation time Paid holidays IND38
