This role is essential in maintaining a safe environment for our clients and their properties. The ideal candidate will possess strong conflict management skills, a background in law enforcement or military service, and the ability to respond effectively to emergencies. As an Armed Security Officer, you will be responsible for monitoring premises, preventing loss, and ensuring the safety of all individuals on site. Duties Post at the Front of Store Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, assessing situations and taking appropriate action as necessary. Enforce rules and regulations to maintain order and safety within the premises. Provide assistance during emergencies, including administering first aid and CPR when required. Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary to report incidents or suspicious activities. Document daily activities, incidents, and any unusual occurrences in detailed reports. Participate in ongoing training programs to stay current with security protocols and best practices. Requirements De-escalation tactics Prior Law or Military is recommended but not required Certification in CPR and First Aid is required; additional certifications in security training are a plus. Excellent observational skills with attention to detail for identifying potential risks or violations. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in high-pressure situations. Must possess a valid security license as per state regulations.
