Job Description

Workers Compensation Insurance Specialist Peak Performers has partnered with a global retail organization to assist in their search for a hybrid Workers Compensation Insurance Specialist in Conshohocken, PA. In this position, you will be responsible for workers compensation claims management for the state of California.

Major duties
  • Manage and lead all insurance processes, procedures and yearly activities for California in a timely and in an effective way, securing all relevant standards and rules are in place.
  • Responsible for all local mandatory insurances to ensure compliance with local legislation.
  • Provide advice on local insurance matters to relevant business leaders and stakeholders
  • Secure insurance optimization in California through avoidance of double insurance or buy-down of deductibles.
  • Accountable for collection of insured values for reporting to insurers and make sure that the values are declared in time for premium calculation purposes per each renewal date.
  • Secure Coordination of Risk engineering service.
  • Report accidental losses and document data necessary for filing of claims according to the claims handling procedures.
  • Coordination of relevant policies with local insurance broker if agreed centrally. What are we looking for?
  • 5+ years of experience with managing workers compensation claims within the state of California.
  • Ability to handle a high volume of claims (100-200 at one time).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with Risk Track a plus.
  • Must enjoy collaborating and building relationships with others. Exciting Opportunity Details
Rate:
$68.31/hour
  • W2 Contract

  • Hybrid (3 days onsite)
