The successful candidate works to provide exemplary customer support to our staff by managing and coordinating all aspects of medical benefits (medical, prescription, dental, vision, FSA, COBRA, FMLA). Responsibilities:
Maintain confidentiality on all matters at all times. Assists with collection and analysis of data related to employee negotiations. Ensure accurate, timely, and confidential administration of employee benefits, including health, dental, prescription, FSA, disability, and other district-provided programs. Provide high-quality support to employees by serving as the primary point of contact for benefit inquiries, enrollment, eligibility, and related documentation. Supports the Human Resources Department by maintaining compliant records, assisting with onboarding processes, administering retiree benefits, and completing benefit-related reporting, billing, and vendor coordination.
Qualifications:
Minimum of an Associate's degree Knowledge of insurance vendors products Understanding of ACA compliance Experience with FMLA and COBRA Benefit renewal and enrollments; open enrollment Experience with GASB benefit reporting Management of monthly billings PSERS demographic and contract records experience Workers' Compensation experience Navigate multiple computer systems and databases efficiently Ability to deal effectively and courteously with associates and the general public Experience in office and clerical work required General knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook, Google Suite and other basic computer programs required Experience with Frontline, PowerSchool E-Finance, ApplicantTracking, Records
