Job Description

Plan Admin/Employee Benefits/Office Admin
Columbia Benefits, LLC (Remote / Denver CO) Seeking motivated Employee Benefits oriented individual. Experience with Defined Contribution Plan/Defined Benefit Plan plan reconciliation/administration, Group Insurance, Individual Insurance, Sales Support and general office administrative duties a big plus. Detail oriented required. Prefer candidate with experience with CalcAir pension system, BlackDiamond, Schwab/Alerus Platform and SalesForce. The position is currently an hourly position up to 35 hours per week at $40/hr. Additional benefits include Retirement Plan/401(k) and incentives. Qualified Plans Document Restatements and Amendments
Reconciliation of plan assets
Preparation of Form 5500, Schedule B and Forms 1099R
Balance-forward recordkeeping of participant accounts
Census analysis and calculation of plan contributions
Performance of nondiscrimination & top heavy tests
Actuarial valuation understanding
Participant termination processing
Familiarity with Calcair highly desired Group/Individual Insurance Solving Problems
Requesting Proposals
Preparing Options for Clients
Helping in sales support
Submitting and following up on applications Office Administration Entering Bills/Invoices Ordering Supplies Answer Phone
