Job Description

ESC is a growing HR outsourcing & employment administration company, headquartered in Amherst, which administers payroll, benefits, and human resources consulting services for our clients. We are a people-centric organization with a focus on culture. We work smart and have fun in a team-oriented environment, working together to provide HR, payroll, benefits, and HRIS services to businesses of all sizes and types. We are looking for an experienced, full-time Benefits Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will provide exceptional customer service to both clients and employees while managing the administration, processing, and maintenance of benefit programs for ESC's clients Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to : Records benefit information in various database sources and informs insurance carriers of new-hire coverage and/or status changes when applicable Works with complex ESC clients with little supervision in a proactive, consultative manner Resolves benefit questions and problems by researching policies and procedures; acts as liaison between carriers and employees Administers various welfare benefit plans including but not limited to medical, dental, vision, ancillary and retirement plans Organizes and presents annual Open Enrollment process with individual clients Demonstrates employee data accuracy through self-checks and audits The successful candidate will have: 2+ years of experience or at least 10 years of experience in benefits administration or management for senior-level role. High school diploma or equivalent Courses or seminars related to benefits administration Advanced knowledge of standard benefit concepts, practices and procedures Demonstrated exceptional customer service skills Strong numerical aptitude and critical thinking skills Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Suite, especially
