Key Responsibilities Benefits Administration :
Collaborate with benefits manager to administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, life insurance, disability coverage, wellness programs, and leave policies. Reviews data for accurate enrollment, updates, and compliance with company policies and federal/state regulations such as HIPAA, COBRA, and the ACA. Processing of monthly insurance invoices.
Employee Support and Education :
Meet with employees as needed to explain benefits options, answer questions related to plans, claims, and provide guidance. Conduct new hire benefit orientations and explain benefits self-enrollment system. Assist with updating and maintaining employee benefits center. Utilize multiple media outlets for promotion of ongoing benefits initiatives and wellness programs.
Vendor and Payroll Coordination :
Communicate with brokers, insurance providers, and other vendors to ensure timely and accurate delivery of benefits. Coordinate with payroll as needed to manage deductions and maintain accurate records.
Compliance and Record-Keeping :
Maintain detailed records of employee benefits, enrollment data, and documentation. Ensure all programs comply with legal requirements and internal policies and prepare reports for management.
Required Skills and Qualifications Education & Experience :
Bachelor's in Human Resources Management or related field, or high school diploma and 2 years of experience in employee benefits administration. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. Familiarity with benefits and leave concepts (medical, dental, vision, FSA/HSA, life, disability, FMLA).

Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.
