This role provides guidance across a range of benefits offerings, including health and welfare plans, leave and life events, wellness programs, and retirement-related benefits. The Benefits Representative collaborates with HR colleagues, payroll, managers, and external partners to ensure accurate administration, regulatory compliance, and a positive employee experience. Key Responsibilities Serve as a primary point of contact for employees regarding benefit programs, including health and welfare, retirement, and wellness offerings. Support benefits enrollment processes such as new hire onboarding, annual open enrollment, and qualifying life events. Maintain accurate data and documentation within HR systems in compliance with institutional policies and applicable regulations. Respond to employee inquiries related to eligibility, coverage, claims, and general plan information. Maintain benefits records and assist with reporting, audits, and compliance activities. Partner with internal teams and external vendors to resolve issues and enhance service delivery. Develop and distribute clear and accessible benefits communications and educational materials. Participate in employee education efforts, including orientations, informational sessions, and open enrollment activities. Provide general guidance and support to employees navigating benefit-related needs and life events, connecting them with appropriate resources. Contribute to process improvements and broader HR initiatives related to employee experience and engagement. Provide occasional in-person support for employee inquiries. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience. 3-5 years of experience in benefits administration, HR operations, or a related area. Working knowledge of employee benefits programs and applicable regulations (e.g., HIPAA, ERISA, ACA, COBRA). Familiarity with HR systems and benefits administration platforms. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate complex information clearly and effectively. Demonstrated problem-solving and organizational skills, with attention to detail. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion. Strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively across teams. Experience supporting employee communications, presentations, or training initiatives is a plus. Work Arrangement This position follows a hybrid work model, combining on-site presence at Lincoln Laboratory with remote flexibility, based on business and team needs.

Hiring Range:

$80,100 - $106,100
