Position Summary We are seeking a Benefits Support Specialist to join our Benefits Department in Fort Smith, AR. We're a team that values strong organization, clear communication, and exceptional client support. As a Benefits Support Specialist, you'll collaborate closely with Account Managers, Account Executives, and Agents to ensure smooth, accurate support for our clients. You'll be part of a positive, collaborative team culture that empowers you to take pride in the quality and impact of your work while helping strengthen long‑term client relationships. Key Responsibilities
  • Process employee enrollments, terminations, and benefit updates across multiple platforms.
  • Maintain accurate client and policy data in EPIC and other internal systems.
  • Prepare renewal spreadsheets and update benefit guides for client open enrollment meetings.
  • Document all correspondence and policy changes according to agency procedures.
  • Assist with incoming phone calls and direct clients to the appropriate team member.
  • Provide administrative support to Account Managers, Account Executives and Agents as needed.
  • Establish and maintain positive client relationships by responding to routine needs and supporting ongoing service requests.
  • Obtain Life & Health licensure as experience grows, strengthening client support capabilities and supporting long‑term career development within the agency. Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent degree with at least one year of experience in an office environment is preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong organizational skills, high attention to detail, responsive and self-motivated.
  • Team player willing to assist as needed with assigned tasks in a fast paced work environment.
