Administrative Compensation Analyst 📍 Springfield, MA | Hybrid (3 Days On-Site / 2 Remote) 💲 Up to $48 per hour Make an Impact in a Growing Healthcare Organization We are seeking an experienced Administrative Compensation Analyst to join the Human Resources team for a rapidly growing healthcare system in downtown Springfield, MA . This role plays a critical part in ensuring compensation programs are equitable, competitive, and compliant , while supporting informed, data-driven decision-making across the organization. Key Responsibilities Analyze and evaluate job descriptions and classifications to ensure internal equity and appropriate pay alignment Conduct market pricing and benchmarking using compensation surveys and external data sources Develop and support compensation strategies that attract, retain, and motivate talent Perform detailed compensation analysis and job evaluations to support salary recommendations and pay program design Prepare clear, data-driven reports and presentations for leadership and HR partners Ensure compliance with state and federal compensation-related regulations Support compensation governance by maintaining and applying policies, procedures, and guidelines Partner with HR colleagues and business stakeholders to provide compensation insights and recommendations Assist in reviewing and updating compensation policies to reflect market trends, best practices, and regulatory changes Leverage HRIS and data tools to extract, analyze, and report on compensation and related workforce data Required Skills & Experience Proven experience in compensation analysis or a closely related Human Resources role Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data Hands-on experience with job evaluation, salary structures, and compensation analytics Experience conducting market pricing and benchmarking using compensation surveys Knowledge of compensation compliance, governance, and reporting standards Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and presentation tools Experience working with HR systems and HR data Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion Preferred Qualifications Prior experience in HR or HR administration with exposure to compensation programs Familiarity with compensation policies, procedures, and governance frameworks Comfort presenting findings and recommendations to leadership Strong collaboration skills and ability to work cross-functionally Interest in staying current on compensation trends and regulatory changes Work Environment & Benefits Hybrid schedule : 3 days on-site, 2 days remote Office-based work in a downtown Springfield healthcare setting Exposure to a fast-growing, mission-driven organization Collaborative HR team environment with meaningful impact Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Springfield, MA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $48.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
