00068886451 About the role As a Facets Product Consultant - Benefits & Claims, you will make an impact by leading the design, configuration, and implementation of Facets solutions that support critical healthcare payer operations. You will be a valued member of the Healthcare Product & Implementation team, collaborating closely with business, operations, and technology stakeholders to deliver scalable, high‑quality solutions aligned with client goals. In this role, you will:
  • Lead design and configuration activities across Facets domains, with a focus on Product Benefits, Eligibility, Coding, and Claims.
  • Translate business requirements into effective configuration designs and participate in global and detailed design sessions.
  • Provide thought leadership on Facets configuration best practices and solution architecture.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for design, configuration, and implementation activities.
  • Support testing efforts, including test case creation, execution, and validation to ensure quality delivery.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver scalable, reusable configuration solutions across the organization.
  • Contribute to business requirement gathering and process improvement initiatives.
  • Guide quality assurance and user acceptance testing activities to ensure successful implementation outcomes.

What you need to have to be considered
  • Experience in the healthcare payer domain, including hands‑on involvement in Facets implementation projects.
  • Strong experience in Facets modules, particularly Product Benefits and Claims (Eligibility and Coding a plus).
  • Proficiency in SQL Server for data analysis, validation, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience across the software development lifecycle, including analysis, requirements gathering, design, testing, and implementation.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to participate effectively in client and team discussions.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies. These will help you stand out
  • Technical experience with .NET technologies (ASP.NET, C#, MVC, REST/WCF services).
  • Exposure to Azure Cloud environments.
  • Experience working with microservices and multi‑tier architecture.
  • Experience leading or mentoring configuration teams.
  • Ability to create strong client‑facing materials and deliver presentations.
Salary and Other Compensation:
Applicants will be accepted till 6/28/2026 Cognizant will only consider applicants for this position who are legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
  • Please note, this role is not able to offer visa transfer or sponsorship now or in the future
  • The annual salary for this position will be in the range of $113,000 - $130,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
