Operations Support Representative - Health Insurance Ritter Insurance Marketing Harrisburg, PA (Hybrid) About Ritter Insurance Marketing Ritter Insurance Marketing, an Integrity company, is an independent marketing organization supporting independent insurance agents in the senior health and life insurance market. Based in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, Ritter has satellite offices in New York, Nebraska, Idaho, Arizona, Florida, Maryland, North Carolina and Ohio. More than 280 full-time Ritter employees support the business of over 15,000 independent insurance agents in all 50 states. Its proprietary software development and agent service departments develop and market leading business solutions for insurance agents. Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented candidate to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing paperwork, providing agent support, tracking contract statuses, and more. This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and prior customer service or administrative experience.
Primary Responsibilities:
Processing paperwork with insurance carriers for agents and agencies Providing overall agent support and assistance via phone and email Following up with insurance carriers and agents as necessary Processing applications and beneficiary enrollments Tracking statuses of contracts submitted by insurance agents Confirming certain requirements are met to sell Medicare Advantage and other Medicare products Working in large files that contain sensitive agent information to identify and resolve issues Tracking and reporting production Perform other duties as assigned to support the needs of the team.
Primary Skills & Requirements:
High School degree or equivalent 0-2 years of relevant experience Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Prior customer service and/or administrative experience Experience with the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel Ability to learn proprietary computer systems Excellent communication skills with emphasis on professionalism and attention to detail Benefits Available Medical/Dental/Vision Insurance 401(k) Retirement Plan Paid Holidays PTO Community Service

Life Insurance Short-Term and Long-Term Disability Compensation The general pay scale for this open position is $20.00-$22.00 per hour. Pay for a selected candidate will be determined within the pay scale based on one or more of the following factors: candidate's experience, skill set, education level, and/or location.
