Job Description

Piper Companies is seeking a Senior Compensation Analyst to join a rapidly growing organization within the life sciences industry for a hybrid permanent position based in the RTP, NC area. The Senior Compensation Analyst will play a key role in supporting compensation strategy and analytics while partnering closely with HR and business leadership to drive data-informed decisions. Responsibilities of the Senior Compensation Analyst include:
  • Conduct job evaluations and market benchmarking to ensure competitive and equitable pay structures
  • Analyze large compensation datasets to generate insights and recommendations for leadership
  • Partner with HR teams to develop job descriptions, career frameworks, and compensation structures
  • Support annual compensation cycles including merit reviews, bonuses, and market adjustments
  • Maintain and optimize compensation systems (e.g., Workday, PayFactors, MarketPay) while ensuring data integrity Qualifications for the Senior Compensation Analyst include:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or related field
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in compensation or total rewards within an HR environment
  • Background in healthcare or life sciences strongly preferred
  • Advanced Excel skills with experience handling complex datasets and statistical analysis
  • Experience working with compensation platforms and HRIS tools (Workday highly preferred) Compensation for the

Salary Range:
$100,000-$135,000/year (USD)
