Compensation:
$80,000 - $98,000 / Annually The Senior Total Rewards Specialist is a high-impact role for a highly organized, solutions-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in bringing structure, accuracy, and continuous improvement to complex programs. This individual will own and lead the administration of Leave of Absence and Workers' Compensation programs while serving as a key resource for team members, leaders, and HR partners — and will provide meaningful support across benefits administration, retirement plan operations, and broader Total Rewards functions. As a Senior Total Rewards Specialist , you will: Own and lead Workers' Compensation claims administration , ensuring full compliance with state and federal regulations Oversee and optimize leave of absence programs , including FMLA, ADA, personal leave, and other applicable leave types Partner with managers, HR Business Partners, and external vendors to ensure smooth processes and timely case resolution Monitor trends and identify process improvements that enhance program effectiveness and the employee experience Process unemployment claims with accurate, timely documentation and reporting Manage agency accounts to reduce paper processing and improve operational efficiency Track and report unemployment data to support compliance and cost management Serve as a point of contact for team member benefits inquiries , providing responsive and knowledgeable support Support benefits education efforts , including new hire orientations and enrollment guidance Coordinate annual open enrollment and manage ongoing benefit changes throughout the year Partner with third-party administrators and recordkeepers to ensure compliance with ERISA requirements Support team member education and inquiries related to retirement plan programs Manage annual testing, audit coordination, and regulatory filings to ensure ongoing plan compliance Support administration of PTO, holiday, and leave-related policies , providing guidance on accruals, usage, and compliance Ensure all Total Rewards programs comply with applicable federal and state laws and regulations Prepare reports and analysis to support data-driven decision-making across Total Rewards functions May support compensation activities , including job evaluations, market benchmarking, and compensation analysis As a Senior Total Rewards Specialist , you have: 10+ years of progressive Human Resources experience 4-6+ years of direct experience in Leave of Absence and Workers' Compensation administration Experience supporting benefits administration, including open enrollment, vendor coordination, and employee communications A strong working knowledge of FMLA, ADA, COBRA, HIPAA, ERISA, and related compliance requirements Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, formulas, and reporting A background supporting Total Rewards programs across multiple states Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities with a focus on accuracy, compliance, and continuous improvement A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field, or equivalent work experience
Preferred:
Your SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR, or CEBS certification Experience with ADP Exposure to Canadian benefits or global Total Rewards programs
Work Details Work Location:
This position follows a hybrid schedule — two (2) days onsite in Walton Hills, OH, and three (3) days remote. Qualified candidates must be local or able to commute.
