Job Type:

Full-time (Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM) Valley Day & Night Clinic is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Workers' Compensation Coordinator to join our team. This role serves as a vital link between employers, insurance carriers, adjusters, and our medical providers to ensure seamless coordination of care for injured workers. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering excellent service while maintaining compliance and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

Coordinate care for patients injured on the job through workers' compensation cases Communicate with employers, insurance companies, and adjusters regarding claims, authorizations, and patient status Verify workers' compensation coverage and ensure proper documentation is obtained Schedule patient appointments and ensure timely follow-up care Serve as a liaison between providers and external partners for case management Maintain accurate records in EHR and ensure all documentation meets compliance requirements Track case progress, including work status reports, treatment plans, and return-to-work updates Ensure required forms (DWC forms, reports, billing documentation) are completed and submitted promptly Provide excellent customer service to patients and company representatives Collaborate with clinical and front office staff to ensure smooth workflow

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent (associate degree preferred) Experience in workers' compensation, medical office, or insurance coordination preferred Knowledge of workers' compensation processes and terminology Familiarity with EHR systems and medical documentation Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple cases and prioritize tasks effectively Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
