Dell USA L.P. is seeking an Advisor, Compensation at its Round Rock, Texas facility.
Duties:
Develop, implement, and administer compensation policies and programs. Audit jobs for content and prepare job descriptions reflecting job responsibilities, duties, and requirements. Develop compensation surveys to collect and analyze competitive salary information to determine company's competitive position. Review proposed salary adjustments for conformance to established guidelines, policies, and practices. Recommend corrective or alternative actions to resolve compensation-related issues. Review requests for new or revised classifications to determine appropriate salary grade assignment. Formulate recommendations regarding development of company salary structure, FLSA exemptions, job revisions, and organizational structures. Review existing and proposed statutory requirements governing compensation administration and recommend appropriate courses of action. Prepare special studies and recommendations on incentive compensation, bonus plans, sales compensation or stock options. Manage domestic or international programs.
Requirements:
Master's degree in Industrial and Labor Relations, Human Resource Management, Business Management/Administration or related field plus three (3) years of experience with HR administration, HR management, or a similar occupation OR Bachelor's degree in Industrial and Labor Relations, Human Resource Management, Business Management/Administration or related field plus five (5) years of experience with HR administration, HR management, or a similar occupation.
Requires experience with:
preparing statistical analyses relating to compensation, including competitive pay range changes or compensation adjustments; job design and content; conducting compensation surveys to analyze competitive salary information; developing and administering compensation systems and programs; HRIS-related software and spreadsheet applications; HR practices; project management; HR consulting to determine solutions to HR related challenges; and programme Management.
