Salt Lake City, UT - Onsite Our client is seeking a Benefits Consultant to join their team, supporting clients across metropolitan markets with a mix of onsite client visits and travel for open enrollment meetings. Compensation:

$80,000 - $90,000, based on experience 401k + company matching Health and dental insurance benefits Paid time off A Day in the Life of the Benefits Consultant In this role, you'll act as a trusted advisor to clients, helping them design, evaluate, and manage their employee benefits programs. From leading open enrollment meetings to navigating underwriting and renewals, you'll play a key role in ensuring clients receive tailored, compliant, and competitive benefits solutions. Your work directly supports client satisfaction and long-term retention.

Responsibilities include:

Travel to meet with clients to discuss benefit options, gather quotes, present recommendations, and guide them through underwriting and open enrollment Research, analyze, and evaluate corporate benefit plans and programs Monitor industry trends and stay current on benefits legislation and compliance requirements Manage client renewals and coordinate servicing with internal teams Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers, sales representatives, and account executives Support clients across multiple lines of coverage, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and supplemental plans Lead presentations for both small and large groups Organize and support health fairs and client engagement events Provide expert-level guidance and support across a variety of benefits-related topics Assist with additional departmental functions and special projects as needed

Requirements and Qualifications:

5+ years of benefits-related experience Active Life and Health insurance license Experience managing multiple benefits plans Knowledge of benefits trends and applicable legislation Ability to lead open enrollment and present to groups Ability to manage renewal cycles and underwriting processes Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications Strong communication, problem-solving, and client relationship skills About the
