Job Description

Employee Experience Specialist - Benefits and HR Operations We are excited to announce that we are seeking candidates for an Employee Experience Specialist - Benefits and HR Operations position. From day one, you'll join a collaborative, service-oriented team dedicated to delivering a consistent, high-quality employee experience while advancing Farm Credit of the Virginias' mission to serve agriculture and rural communities. In this role, you'll support the full employee lifecycle through benefits administration, HR operations, and employee support. You'll serve as a primary point of contact for HR-related needs while ensuring processes are executed accurately and consistently.
Salary Range:
$62,500-$91,300 plus incentive opportunities

Responsibilities/Duties:
Administers employee benefits programs, serves as a resource for employee questions, and supports annual open enrollment. Coordinates onboarding/offboarding and processes employee lifecycle transactions while maintaining HRIS data accuracy. Supports employee experience initiatives, including engagement surveys, feedback tracking, and wellness or employee programs. Administers and tracks compliance programs (FMLA, ADA, leave, workers' compensation) and supports audits and reporting. Maintains HR data, supports reporting, and contributes to process improvements that enhance efficiency and consistency. ________________________________________
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience. 3+ years of experience in HR, benefits administration, or HR operations. Experience with employee benefits, HRIS systems, and employee lifecycle processes. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Ability to maintain confidentiality and deliver a high level of employee support.
