Lead annual benefits open enrollment planning, communications strategy, and vendor management from start to finish. Evaluate, negotiate, and manage relationships with benefits brokers, carriers, and third-party administrators; monitor performance against SLAs. Oversee leave of absence programs (FMLA, STD/LTD, parental leave, ADA accommodations) ensuring regulatory compliance and a positive employee experience. Benchmark benefits offerings against market peers and emerging trends; make data-driven recommendations to enhance cost-effectiveness and employee satisfaction. Ensure compliance with all applicable benefits laws (ERISA, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA) and international statutory requirements. Strategy & Leadership Serve as the subject matter expert for all total rewards matters; advise HRBPs and business leaders on compensation decisions, offer negotiations, and retention strategies. Demonstrated expertise managing both compensation and benefits programs simultaneously in a global technology startup. Strong analytical skills with the ability to build models, interpret data, and present insights and recommendations clearly to senior stakeholders. Working knowledge of multi-country compensation structures and international benefits; experience with India, EMEA, or APAC markets strongly preferred.
