Job Description

Benefits Director San Marino , CA Contract Corporate $60/HR to $100/HR 04/07/2026 Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Benefits Director to assist their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting pay rate of $60.00 to $100.00 per hour.
Job Responsibilities:
Provide strategic and operational direction for all employee benefit programs, ensuring accurate administration and compliance. Oversee communication of benefit offerings through clear summaries, updates, and employee announcements. Manage required reporting and filings to meet federal, state, and local regulatory obligations. Evaluate vendor proposals and data to deliver informed recommendations that support organizational goals. Lead, mentor, and develop the benefits team while establishing policies, procedures, and service standards.
Requirements:
Strong ability to interpret and apply employment and benefits regulations at multiple government levels. Previous experience managing leave programs, disability plans, and return to work processes. Advanced analytical skills used to prepare reporting, assess program performance, and support decision making. Clear and professional communication skills with the ability to present complex information effectively. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment.
Qualifications:
Extensive experience leading benefits programs across a broad range of plan types. A deep knowledge of employment law concepts related to benefits, leave, and accommodations. Proven ability to resolve employee benefit issues while maintaining compliance and service quality. Advanced proficiency with common office tools, including strong spreadsheet skills for data analysis. Demonstrate leadership experience developing teams and improving operational effectiveness.
