Job Description

Crest is looking for a top-notch Benefits Account Manager in their Fort Collins Office to service and expand our benefits book of business. This is an opportunity of a lifetime to have a career in a fast-growing insurance brokerage firm. We have physical locations in Arizona, Colorado, California, Nevada, and Wyoming, servicing customers in all 50 states.
Minimum Qualifications:
A current Health and Life Insurance license is a plus but we are open to providing training and licensing support for the right candidate. High School Diploma/GED and a minimum of 2 years of related experience Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Ability to navigate various carrier websites to retrieve items for processing or customer inquiries.
Preferred Qualification:
Associates or Bachelor's degree Previous experience working in EPIC, Zywave, Employee Navigator Human resources experience or knowledge
Additional Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
Ability to be highly organized, yet flexible in dealing with shifting priorities, fluctuating workloads, and evolving procedures. Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and enjoy working with people in a high-volume customer service environment. Ability to work independently with limited supervision, while maintaining positive staff relationships within a teamwork environment.
Examples of Essential Job Duties:
Build and maintain key client and carrier relationships, by phone, email, and in-person, including communication and presentations in-person or via internet videoconferences. Document all client interactions, communications, and strategic initiatives in Crest's Agency Management System in accordance with required workflows, conventions, and protocols, with accuracy and within required timelines. Assist assigned clients and Crest team members with service questions relating to administration, billing, claims issues, compliance and other problem solving as needed, within Crest Employee Benefits standards for response timeliness and professionalism. Work with Producers and lead Account Service teams to create and manage timelines and project management plans related to benefit plan renewals, requests for proposal, creation of benefit communications materials and enrollment meetings. Coordinate and lead service and regular stewardship meetings to demonstrate agency capabilities, review regulatory compliance, answer client questions and train client staff as needed. Continually evaluate relationship for cross-sell/development opportunities. Review, evaluate and present renewal offers and supporting documentation from current carriers and vendors, requesting renewal information from client and creating, distributing and compiling responses to Requests for Proposal as needed. Coordinate plan design changes, systems builds and communicate with vendors and carriers to assure accurate implementation and minimize Errors and Omissions Lead benefit plan implementations; including open enrollment material design, renewal timeline development, and coordination of open enrollment meetings. Assist clients with compliance and refer them to preferred vendors (ACA, HIPAA, COBRA, FMLA, ERISA) as needed and appropriate. Maintain and audit Crest benefit administration platforms, including their interface and interaction with insurance carrier and client system requirements. Attend seminars, classes and carrier meetings to maintain current knowledge of market changes including legislative changes and Affordable Care Act regulations. Mentor and train Account Assistants and other Account Management team members as needed or assigned. Other duties as assigned.
