This opportunity is ideal for an attorney interested in focusing on sophisticated health & welfare benefits matters, ERISA compliance, benefits counseling, and benefits-related litigation for a diverse client base that includes public companies, private companies, healthcare organizations, financial institutions, and nonprofit organizations. The Role Health & welfare benefits counseling ERISA compliance and regulatory guidance HIPAA compliance and privacy matters COBRA administration and compliance Mental Health Parity & Addiction Equity Act compliance Affordable Care Act (ACA) compliance and counseling No Surprises Act compliance and implementation Benefits-related litigation and dispute resolution Employee benefits due diligence in corporate transactions Direct client interaction and substantive responsibility Ideal Background Approximately 3+ years of employee benefits experience Significant experience involving health & welfare benefit plans required Strong working knowledge of ERISA, HIPAA, COBRA, ACA, Mental Health Parity & Addiction Equity Act, and the No Surprises Act Experience advising employers, plan sponsors, fiduciaries, and administrators preferred Experience with benefits-related litigation, investigations, audits, or regulatory compliance matters is a plus Excellent drafting, analytical, and communication skills Outstanding academic credentials Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school required Georgia bar admission preferred or ability to become admitted in Georgia Why This Opportunity Industry-leading Employee Benefits & Executive Compensation practice Exposure to sophisticated health & welfare benefits matters for national clients Significant client interaction and responsibility Strong mentorship and professional development opportunities Collaborative and highly respected national platform Clear long-term growth and partnership potential Opportunity to work alongside nationally recognized ERISA and benefits practitioners Compensation Expected compensation ranges from approximately $240,000 - $425,000+ depending on level (Associate, Senior Associate, or Counsel), experience, and overall qualifications.
