Straumann Operations in North America In North America, Straumann's operations play a strategic role in delivering the Group's mission to support dental professionals, improve patient outcomes, and drive innovation in key markets. Straumann USA — with corporate and operational facilities in Massachusetts — serves as a central hub for market execution, product delivery, customer support, and operational excellence across the region. The North American organization manages sales, distribution, manufacturing, training, and technical support for a comprehensive range of dental solutions, including implant systems, prosthetics, digital tools, and practice-oriented services. As part of Straumann's global footprint, the region drives collaboration with clinical partners and contributes to the company's broader growth objectives through executional leadership and deep engagement with dental professionals and laboratories in the U.S. and Canada The Role The Head of Total Rewards - North America is a critical leadership role responsible for designing, implementing, and evolving Straumann's compensation and benefits strategy across the North America region. This role will report directly to the North America CHRO, with a dotted-line relationship to Global Head of Total Reward ensuring strong alignment between global frameworks and regional execution. Leading a small team based onsite at Regional HQ in Andover, MA. The Director will serve as a strategic partner to business leaders, HRBPs, and Talent Acquisition, while also operating as a hands-on leader driving core Total Rewards programs including compensation architecture, incentive design, benefits strategy, and governance . Key Responsibilities Total Rewards Strategy & Leadership Define and execute a North America Total Rewards strategy aligned to business priorities, talent needs, and global frameworks Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on compensation philosophy, competitiveness, and workforce planning Translate global programs into regionally relevant, market-competitive solutions Act as a key subject matter expert in the job architecture and organizational leveling Compensation (Core Focus Area) Lead compensation architecture including job leveling, salary structures, and market benchmarking, and systems implementation Own annual compensation cycles (merit, bonus, promotions, equity where applicable) Design and manage sales incentive and variable compensation programs aligned to commercial strategy Provide guidance on executive and critical hire compensation decisions Work with global Contribute team to establish global standard jobs and grading, pay position strategy and systems-based job architecture with pay ranges. Benefits & Wellbeing Oversee health & welfare, retirement, and wellbeing programs across North America Lead vendor strategy, plan design, and cost optimization initiatives Ensure programs are competitive, scalable, and aligned to employee value proposition Governance, Compliance & Risk Ensure compliance with U.S. and Canadian regulatory requirements Maintain strong governance across compensation and benefits programs Partner with Legal and Finance on risk management and policy integrity Data, Systems & Analytics Leverage SAP SuccessFactors to drive data integrity, reporting, and process efficiency Develop insights and analytics to inform decision-making and improve outcomes Lead continuous improvement of Total Rewards processes and tools Performance Management Partners with Talent CoE, HRBPs, and business leaders to strengthen a high-performance culture grounded in clear expectations, feedback, and accountability. Owns the North America performance management process (goal setting, check-ins, calibration, development planning) aligned with global philosophy. Lead the performance cycle (goal launch, mid-year, year-end) ensuring consistency, fairness, and strong manager adoption. Enable managers through tools, training, and guidance on goal setting, feedback, and performance management. Deliver performance insights and reporting to drive decision-making and continuous improvement.

HR Business Partners (HRBPs) Talent Acquisition ("Join" team) Finance and senior business leaders Support hiring strategies through market insights, offer guidance, and competitive positioning Experience & Qualifications 10-15+ years of experience in Total Rewards, Compensation, or Benefits leadership Demonstrated expertise in compensation design and strategy (required) Experience operating across North America (U.S. + Canada required; LATAM a plus) Background in MedTech, life sciences, healthcare, or similarly regulated industry strongly preferred Proven ability to operate in a matrixed, global organization Strong executive presence with the ability to influence senior stakeholders What Success Looks Like A modern, competitive Total Rewards framework that supports talent attraction and retention Improved consistency and governance across North America programs Strong partnership with business leaders, enabling faster, more effective hiring and workforce decisions Clear alignment between global strategy and regional execution Why Join Straumann Be a part of a global leader in healthcare innovation Play a high-impact role shaping talent strategy across North America Partner with senior leaders in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment Contribute to improving patient outcomes and advancing oral health worldwide Compensation Annual base range $175 - 210k + variable 20-25% bonus.
