Role Overview The Account Manager supports the ongoing needs of employer groups enrolled in the OneHealth Plan. This role manages day to day service, solves client issues efficiently, and maintains strong communication throughout the year. As OneHealth continues to grow, this position ensures that the increasing volume of groups and contacts receives timely and professional support. Prior experience in small group health account management is required. Key Responsibilities As the Account Manager , you will take ownership of client relationships, daily service execution, and coordination efforts that ensure employer groups receive best in class support.
Your key responsibilities include:
Ongoing Client Relationship Management Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned employer group contacts Manage all inbound service requests including employee adds terms billing issues and eligibility questions Route service items to the appropriate internal teams and oversee progress to completion Maintain consistent and professional communication with client contacts throughout the year Track and document client activity and ensure timely follow up on open items Processing new hires, QLE, and termination requests Coordinating with service coordinator to address member specific needs Process and Coordination Document all activity notes and outcomes in the appropriate systems including CRM and operations platforms Contribute to the continuous improvement of departmental processes by documenting workflows, maintaining and updating SOPs, identifying opportunities for enhancement, and communicating recommendations to leadership. Coordinate with client HR teams and OneHealth scheduling teams to ensure smooth execution of ongoing needs Support renewal activities by preparing census updates validating plan selections and coordinating with internal underwriting and billing teams Service Quality and Issue Resolution Identify recurring client issues and recommend process improvements Ensure escalated items are handled promptly and communicated clearly to the client Monitor service performance metrics and maintain OneHealth service standards Required Qualifications Experience in small group health insurance account management Strong knowledge of enrollment eligibility billing processes and employer group service workflows High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple client requests concurrently Strong written and verbal communication skills with clear and consistent documentation Proficiency with CRM systems including HubSpot Software and platform adeptness with the ability to learn new systems quickly Strong email organization and commitment to structured communication Attention to brand consistency and high quality work in all client facing tasks Habit of checking work thoroughly before completion Technically proficient and quick to learn new systems Skills & Attributes Professional client facing communication style with strong relationship management abilities Strong organizational skills with the ability to maintain accuracy in a fast paced environment Ability to coordinate effectively across internal teams and manage high service volume Problem solver who is comfortable taking initiative and ownership Consistent accuracy in communication documentation and follow through Commitment to producing polished brand aligned work Personal Traits Reliable accountable and driven to exceed expectations in all service interactions Clear communicator who takes pride in accuracy consistency and professional tone Comfortable in a deadline driven environment and flexible under pressure when client needs shift Motivated to grow professionally and contribute to a high performing service team Self motivated with a strong sense of responsibility and follow through Friendly supportive and dependable when working with clients HR teams and internal colleagues Committed to delivering high quality experiences and going above and beyond for client satisfaction Proud to represent a brand that expects and rewards excellence Compensation & Benefits Base salary: $60,000 to $72,000 annually, based on experience Annual performance based bonuses Full-time employment with a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, and 401(k) Paid time off and professional development opportunities Why Join Us?
