The Cincinnati Center City Development Corporation (3CDC) is a nonprofit real estate development and finance organization focused on revitalizing Cincinnati's urban core. Through development, civic space management, and community partnerships, 3CDC has played a major role in transforming Downtown Cincinnati and Over-the-Rhine. Position Overview The Director of Benefits & Compliance will lead the strategy, administration, and continuous improvement of the organization's benefits and HR compliance functions. This person will serve as the internal subject matter expert for benefits, leave administration, retirement plans, and compliance reporting while also partnering closely with leadership to evaluate long-term strategy, employee experience, and cost management. What You'll Do Lead day-to-day administration of employee benefits programs including medical, dental, vision, retirement, leave management, and related employee support Serve as the internal expert on benefits compliance, reporting, and regulatory requirements Partner with brokers, vendors, and leadership to evaluate benefits offerings, manage renewals, and identify cost-saving opportunities Improve and build scalable compliance processes, reporting structures, and operational workflows Support employees and leaders with benefits questions, leave situations, and policy guidance Help drive a proactive, employee-focused HR experience across the organization What We're Looking For 7-10 years of progressive HR experience, including significant experience in benefits strategy and administration Existing knowledge of benefits administration, leave management, and HR compliance regulations Experience managing brokers, vendors, carriers, and external partners Ability to operate both strategically and hands-on in a lean HR environment Experience improving or building HR/compliance processes is highly preferred HRIS experience required; Paycor experience preferred Strong communication skills and confidence interacting with employees across all levels of the organization SHRM, PHR/SPHR, CEBS, or related certifications are a plus Why Join 3CDC?
